Island Bound Marine Services, Inc. has been serving the boating community since 1992. Originally started strictly as a bottom cleaning service, we have grown to include all facets of boat care.

Our owner, Captain Rick Anderau, is a licensed 100 ton Master Captain with thousands of hours of boat operational experience. Captain Rick has been in, on, or under boats for over thirty years.

In addition to Captain Rick, all of our employees are licensed, insured, and completely qualified. Our over riding employee philosophy constantly stresses quality over quantity, in all phases of our work on your boat. We treat each customer's boat as if it were our own. Every project, whether large or small, receives maximum attention and care from start to finish.

Our diving team has a combined total diving experience in excess of 50 years. They have worked on almost every type of watercraft and waterbourne structure around. The latest check of recovery static's shows a phenomenal rate of 75%.

Our interior and exterior detail teams boast a combined 45 years of experience. They make every boat under their care sparkle inside and out.

The bottom painting/outdrive painting/mechanical crews are the most experienced of our teams. We are proud to include several local yards and mechanics along with Island Bound personnel as part of these teams. When your boat is hauled for painting or mechanical work, you can count on a crew with no less than 60 years of combined experience.

Our professional service team is second to none. Captain Rick's 30 years of experience is unquestionably invaluable when it comes to training personnel in boat and yacht operation. Or, you can count on the captain to professionally operate your boat to almost any destination. If she's a trailerable boat we have vehicles and licensed personnel to haul her just about anywhere.  Our crew can stock your boat with any level of provisioning for any voyage. And, we can even arrange catering services to meet your entertaining needs.
